Lotos LTP5000 Plasma Cutter, First Fire-Up

Found this by chance on "newegg.com" - in a sort of 'bargain basement' type page - quite by accident. Strange thing to see on a site that is mostly electronics etc. Cost was $375, which when compared with around double for the Harbor Freight offering seemed worth considering. It has max 50A for the arc and can handle up to about 5/8" steel, using mosfet inverter technology with PWM at around a frequency of 100KHz. V and A are then stepped down. This was literally first time firing up and we hardly had a clue except for reading the short manual. The video is partly for laughs - as this old fella was so totally new to it. :) Should be very useful.
