Lathe Compound Slide Leadscrew and Nut, Part 7, Final

At last - we get into the final lap. Cutting the two Woodruff key slots - which again showed the 'mystifying' slight edge marks, until simple realization as to what had caused that! Once keyways cut - on to profiling the brass nut to achieve clearance within the compound top slide. Once that dealt with we moved on to finishing aspects and fitting the assembly into the compound to replace the old components. End result fairly satisfying and a definite improvement.
