Machining Scrap Steel to Make a Fire Piston

Compress air fast enough and it gets hot -- the principle here behind this device in order to ignite some char cloth to act as a starter for fire. Having heard of this approach it seemed worthy of a small project -- make one instead of buying, plus, just an interesting project! Of course, as seen within YouTube, there are numerous other ways to make this device. Found some mild steel offcuts such as a chunk of 20mm round bar for the main body and, a shortish length of 3/8" round bar to be the piston. The video shows the process to just make the few parts needed, including as usual, a few quick cheats!
