Trying Out a 'Diamond' Tool Holder
| A very quick trial of this newly acquired tool holder - it uses a piece of square HSS with a steep top grind (the 'diamond' shape), to produce tangential cutting. It should be a useful addition to the selection of cutting tools - the theory is very good. It's also possible to use round tooling and we will do further tests, including some different grinds etc. |
