Chuck Reverse Safety Part Two

We continue work on the Al collar - machining one side, milling flats and drilling through each side for tapping and clearance - followed by a split with slitting saw. Attention then turned to making two high tolerance ''drive'' pins for attachment to chuck backplates, with a drive peg at one end for engagement in the locking collar and 5/16 thread other end for engagement in a chuck backplate. Having shoulders at each end of the pins gave the bonus of added rigidity. Finally, some assembly and test.
